We adhere to the principles of a safer space

Safer space

Everyone has the right to their own space – respect others' physical and mental integrity, – and demand it for yourself when necessary.

Be open and listen

Approach new topics and people without prejudice. Listen and treat every situation and encounter as an opportunity to learn and grow.

Respect

Give others space, be mindful of your word choices, and remember the diversity of event participants. Ask the staff at Kruunu for permission before taking their photo.

Don't assume

Respect everyone's right to self-identification, and don't make assumptions about others' gender, background, or family relationships.

Relax

If you break the rules, don’t worry: we all do sometimes. Making mistakes and asking questions is allowed, but be sure to learn from your errors.

Intervene

If you witness harassment or other inappropriate behavior, don't remain a bystander. You can also ask the event organisers for help.
