We adhere to the principles of a safe space

Safe space

Everyone has the right to their own space – respect others' physical and psychological integrity, and demand it for yourself if necessary.

Be open and listen

Approach new topics and people without prejudice. Listen and take each new situation as an opportunity to learn and grow.

Respect

Give others space, pay attention to your choice of words, and remember the diversity of event participants. Ask Kruunu staff for permission to photograph them.

Don't assume

Respect everyone's right to self-identify, and don't make assumptions about others' gender, background, or family relations.

Relax

If you break the rules, don't worry: we all do sometimes. Making mistakes and asking questions is allowed, but learn from your mistakes.

Intervene

If you witness harassment or other inappropriate behavior, don't just stand by. You can also ask for help from event organizers.
