Sense of Time

Exhibition Sense of Time explores the theme of time through the mirror of visual art, jewellery and clocks. We all have our personal sense of time. We also have the horizon of the family, of culture, but there is also geological time, cosmic time. What is time? When we look to the sky at the planets and stars we see them hours or even years ago because it takes time for the light to travel. What is now then?

Сlocks from different historical periods and works of artists Anna Rikkinen, Annika Eklöf, Inni Pärnänen, Helena Lehtinen, Elina Honkanen, Janna Syvänoja, Nelli Tanner, Irene Sema collected together in reflection on Matter of Time. Exhibition Sense of Time is a part of the project Garden of Stones and Thousand Flowers.
